This meeting ought to be the most important of the season , in Belgium . That was not counting with our typical Belgian weather conditions ! The exhibitions and the static displays were outstanding and of great quality but , the new rules of not flying closer than 500yards of the crowd are a bit frustrating for the photographers not having a 600mm or , at least , a 400mm tele lens ... Anyway , despite the rain and the clouds too close to the ground , I had a wonderful moment admiring the exhibitions of the pilots and the teams participating .The Red Arrows , who were flying in the last moments of sunshine , spoilt us with a breathtaking exhibition ! Just imagine they had 5 meetings in 3 different Countries in 2 days time ! Can't wait to see them again ... My thanks to the Belgian Air Force and their representatives on the field for their help and understanding of disabled people . |
