Infrared with the D30

by Wheelie

Lens : 28-135mm USM IS  - Filter : Hoya R72 - AE metering - Autofocus - Handheld - RAW files

The Hoya R72 filter on the D30 allows to view very little ( almost nothing ) through the viewfinder . The meter settings were EV+2 and ISO set to 100 ISO . These shots were taken handheld ( around 1/6th to 1/20th of a second ) and the aperture between 3:5 and 4:5 . Noise is obvious and obtrusive compared to the results obtained with the G1 .

A ePost editing in PS : Auto levels - Grayscale - Curves - Brightness & Contrast - UltraSharpen Pro - Despeckle - Resize

New attempt with a tripod . Settings : Manual - f 11 - 3,2 "

Not yet the results I expected . It seems I will need to use a remote release to get the desired sharpness .
